All three Waconia High School Jazz bands had a great weekend of music making at the Eau Claire Jazz Festival. Each band had the chance to perform and sight read in front of a panel of outstanding judges and educators. Waconia Jazz I finished in first place honors for class “B” earning a performance in the evenings “Spotlight Concert” featuring many of the day’s top high school jazz bands, UW-Eau Claire Jazz I, and guests artists Jimmy Heath and Stefon Harris.
Congratulations Waconia Jazz I and all of our jazz ensembles on an outstanding end of our jazz season.
