2014 Lake Waconia Band Festival Full!

The 2014 Lake Waconia Band Festival has been capped at a very full 16 bands!  We can’t wait to welcome each and every band to Waconia on Saturday June 21st for what will surly be a memorable festival.

The Lake Waconia Band Festival is an annual event that is held each year on the third Saturday in June. This year the Lake Waconia Band Festival celebrates it’s 16th year of filling our beautiful city with the sights and sounds of a marching band competition. Is there any better way to spend a Minnesota Saturday evening in June?

This “Bands-Only” parade competition is one of the highlights of the summer marching season in central Minnesota and presents many of the best bands from across Minnesota and Wisconsin. The parade begins at 6:00 PM and travels along Main Street in downtown Waconia with breath-taking views of beautiful Lake Waconia. An awards ceremony is held at Bayview Elementary School immediately following the parade.

This years line up will include these participating bands.

Thank you to the Waconia Lions for help raising over $2500.00 to support our very own Waconia High School band program.  Through the Lion’s annual calendar sale many of our students will see direct benefit through their “Charms” accounts.  We look forward to having an even better calendar sale starting next fall!
